The Irish Palatine Special Interest Group is pleased to announce our second webinar, to be held on Saturday, October 31, 2020, starting at 2:00 pm (Eastern Standard Time)

Our speaker this time is one of our members, Roger Shier, of Ottawa. His topic is:

The Travels, Toils and Triumphs of the Shiers of Brock (and their cousins):

So, please join us for our webinar, and listen to Roger Shier, who will speak about his research into the Shier family of Brock Township and their cousins in other parts of North America. Roger will cover their emigration to Canada, their moves to other states and provinces, their business activities and successes, their military contributions… and then some of the challenges and successes he has had as a result of running his Shier website (http://shiergenealogy.ca) and collection of genealogical data.

Pre-registration is required. To register, please follow this link: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZMpcO2hrj8jHtTJ2vA3fFgvnHXHluSd64Af
