Middle Tennessee Genealogical Society's bi-monthly meeting

PLEASE NOTE: MARCH 21 MEETING WILL BE ONLINE ONLY. (While we will not meet in person, Taneya has graciously agreed to record her presentation on YouTube. Check mtgs.org for a link to the presentation.)

Taneya Koonce, MSLS, MPH, presenting "Genealogy Publications & News Discovery: Using the Periodical Source Index and Feedly.com"

The Periodical Source Index (PERSI) offers a large collection of information about genealogy publications from societies and organizations in the United States and throughout the world. Feedly aids you in consolidating updates from multiple web formats (e.g., blogs, social media accounts, news publications). Both sources help you tap into the continuous streams of information available in the genealogical community.

In this session, you will learn approaches for navigating both PERSI and Feedly to facilitate your genealogy discoveries.

MTGS meetings are free of charge and open to the public. Refreshments will be served following the meeting. Hope to see you there!
